Best Kitchen Faucets
Kitchen faucets require something a bit different. While you should always consider utility as well as aesthetics, even with a bathroom tap, kitchen taps should be practical as a given.

Best Single Handle Kitchen Faucet
One-handle faucets tend to be the cheapest options on the market. That’s because they’re less complicated, and require fewer materials to manufacture.
We like one-handle models for their simplicity, and especially for their looks. They can be sleek and modern for a minimalist aesthetic, or elegant and ornate for accentuating traditional and period decor. These also look great with single-hole setups and custom countertops.

Top Two-handle Faucet
Two-handle models are less of an art installation and more of a precision instrument. Having two handles gives you more control over temperature and pressure.
Two-handle setups can be just as attractive as one-handle models. We really like these for larger countertops and vanities, since they emphasize space and a feeling of unity with the rest of the room. While a one-handle model stands alone, a two-handle setup feels more like part of your space. You’ll just have to have the room for one!

Touch Kitchen Faucet Reviews
Touch-on technology is a new feature that allows you to switch water on and off by simply touching any part of a faucet. That allows for a much simpler design, and helps you keep it clean of germs, dirt, and fingerprints. We like them for the sanitation benefits, as well as the convenience.
One of our favorites is this Delta:
We like it because it combines modern convenience with some great old-fashioned style touches. This one also has a lot of durable features which help it stand out from the touch-on competition.
We’re especially loving the diamond seals and the wipe-clean sprayface. Overall, we think this model is a good compromise between the convenience of a touchless fixture and the price point of a traditional model.

Top Touchless Faucets
Touchless faucets are even more convenient. They’re just what they sound like–faucets with motion-controlled flow.
We like them because they really cut down on germs around the kitchen, which makes food prep safer for you and your family. We also love these for when you don’t have a hand free, like when you’re carrying a plant over to the sink for watering. These models are very pricey, and can be somewhat temperamental, so we’ve been extra careful to find the most reliable, standout touchless faucets!
Our top quality recommendation is the Moen Align.
It’s an ultra-modern fixture with dual motion sensors, adaptive technology, and several different spray settings.
We love the smart safety features, like the heat limit and the automatic shutoff. Electronics aside, this is also a great faucet, plain and simple. It’s solid metal, with a stain resistant finish and a ceramic valve on the inside.

High Arc vs. Low Arc
The arc refers to the spout design on a given faucet. It takes into account the height of the curve, the clearance under the spout, and how far into the sink the spout’s head reaches.
Low arc faucets are much more compact, and easy to fit in tight spaces. They’re your best bet for small bathroom vanities, and kitchens with cabinetry above the sink.
One of our top low arc picks is the Pfister Control:
This distinctive fixture packs serious style points with the open-flow fountain design. We really like it for a relaxing face wash before bed, and for washing your hands after a long day’s work. It’s more efficient than other fountain styles, and it’s built as ruggedly as you could ask for.

High arc faucets are nice because they give you more room to maneuver. In the kitchen, that means more room for washing pots and pans, as well as for watering plants. In the bathroom, high arcs give you space to wash your face or rinse your hair, as well as more room for brushing teeth and washing hands.
A good choice for a high arc faucet is the Premier Sonoma.
It’s a high arc faucet, but it’s not as stark and utilitarian as so many other high arc models can be. This one is an elegant, ornate fixture that fits well with rustic and old-fashioned decor.
With that said, it still gives you plenty of clearance, thanks to a 13.5” arc. We also like the sturdiness of this model. It’s solid brass, with a ceramic valve on the inside. The Sonoma is a practical faucet that looks fantastic, too!
